Sé Cordeiro is a street artist and art teacher from Brazil. He began his artistic career in India in 2010, where he resided for over two years, co-creating the movement that established graffiti as art in the country’s capital. He created and produced the BRINDA Project in Brazil and India in Art in 2012, with the support of the Brazilian embassy in New Delhi.
Female figures with luxuriant hair and an overall aura of security and lightness predominate in the artist’s work. Sè Cordeiro has been living in a tiny town in the countryside of Sao Paulo for about four years, a situation that started to directly impact his work, which became more and more tied to nature, basic rural life, and the thoughts that the urban exodus gives us. He has murals and paintings all over the world, including Colombia, Peru, Argentina, France, Germany, Portugal, the United States, and Ireland.
Sé Cordeiro è un artista di strada e insegnante d’arte brasiliano. Ha iniziato la sua carriera artistica in India nel 2010, dove ha risieduto per oltre due anni, co-creando il movimento che ha fatto riconoscere il valore artistico dei graffiti nella capitale del paese. Ha ideato e prodotto il Progetto BRINDA in Brasile e India nell’arte nel 2012, con il supporto dell’ambasciata brasiliana a New Delhi.
Figure femminili con capelli lussureggianti e un’aura complessiva di sicurezza e leggerezza predominano nelle opere dell’artista. Sè Cordeiro vive da circa quattro anni in un paesino delle campagne di San Paulo, condizione che ha influenzato fortemente il suo lavoro, che è diventato sempre più legato alla natura, alla vita contadina, e alle emozioni che l’esodo urbano ci dona. Ha murales e dipinti sparsi in tutto il mondo, in Colombia, Perù, Argentina, Francia, Germania, Portogallo, Stati Uniti e Irlanda.
