Silvia Pezzotti, originally from Valle Camonica, is the art director of Octofly Art, a self-funded project that was started at the end of 2013. She has been drawing with pencils and markers since she was a child, and after a few years, she enrolled in the traditional art school “Decio Celeri” in Lovere, where she learned the fundamental skills and techniques required to join the “Santa Giulia” Academy of Fine Arts in Brescia, where she graduated in Painting in 2014. In those years, she founded her brand and artistic identity. She uses cartoon-style graphics and shapes reminiscent of street art, with figures defined by wit and ingenuity, created using a variety of techniques with no boundaries. The smooth, inventive forms with an exquisite and happy appearance are the distinguishing elements of this art. Octofly Art combines a vital manual and artisan component of traditional origin while also incorporating new digital technologies.
Silvia Pezzotti, originaria della Valle Camonica, è l’art director di Octofly Art, un progetto autofinanziato iniziato a fine 2013. Disegna con matite e pennarelli fin da bambina e, dopo alcuni anni, si iscrive al tradizionale liceo artistico “Decio Celeri” di Lovere, dove apprende le tecniche fondamentali per potersi iscrivere al “Santa Giulia”, Accademia di Belle Arti di Brescia, dove si diploma in Pittura nel 2014. In quegli anni fonda il suo marchio e la sua identità artistica. Utilizza grafiche e forme in stile cartone animato che ricordano la street art, con figure elaborate con arguzia e ingegno, utilizzando una varietà di tecniche senza fine. Le forme lisce e fantasiose, dall’aspetto squisito, sono gli elementi distintivi di quest’arte. Le sue opere contengono una vitale componente manuale e artigianale di derivazione non solo tradizionale, ma anche con applicazione delle nuove tecnologie digitali.
